Simmons Media Group, Inc., along with its subsidiaries, is engaged in the ownership and operation of 11 radio stations; and holding of Federal Communications Commission licenses in Salt Lake City, Utah; St. George, Utah; and Austin, Texas, as of August 11, 2000.

The company's subsidiary, Simmons New Mexico, owns or operates seven additional radio stations, and held Federal Communications Commission licenses in the Albuquerque, New Mexico market.

In addition, the company's subsidiary, Simmons Outdoor Media, owns and operates approximately 172 billboard faces located in the state of Utah and Morris Murdock Travel, a travel agency with offices in Idaho, Montana, and Utah.
