Openings:

Account Executive with experience in High Traffic Internet Web sites.

Area of Responsibility:
A key member of the Simmons InterActive team. Will work with Simmons Media Group Broadcasting Managers and Account Executives to communicate and accomplish the Simmons InterActive strategic plan as well as effectively sell Interactive assets.



Key Responsibilities:

•    Work with Simmons Media Group Managers and Account Executives to attain vigorous digital media goals.
•    Train and support Simmons Media Group Managers and Account Executives on Simmons InterActive Media products.
•    Act as a key liaison with Simmons Media Group Sales Department, helping them interface with Simmons InterActive Media.
•    Create, maintain and present an Internet advertising “Best Practices” portfolio.
•    Create, update, distribute and monitor Internet sales pieces.
•    Work with Account Executives and Production to develop and create online ads.
•    Attend weekly sales meetings.
•    Accompany Account Executives to client meetings.
•    Research and stay up-to-date on industry trends.
•    Work in compliance with Company policies and procedures.
•    Work effectively in a team environment.
•    Maintain a positive and cooperative rapport with staff, management, and clients.
•    Consistently work hours required. Work more when required to meet deadlines including weekends, holidays, evenings etc.
•    Project an appropriate professional appearance and demeanor.



Essential Qualifications:

•    Minimum two (2) years sales experience with high traffic web sites and internet streaming audio
•    Excellent phone skills and working knowledge of business procedures
•    Familiarity with local advertising accounts and agencies
•    Ability to produce immediate, realistic sales results
•    Develop new sales plans and goals for our very high traffic web sites.
•    Create and maintain excellent business/client relations with a large variety of clients
•    Ability to function well under pressure and willing to work irregular hours
•    Familiarity with industry, negotiating practices, marketing principals
•    Ability to conceptualize and implement product marketing strategies for revenue models
•    Work effectively in a team environment
•    Able to work compatibly with Simmons Media Group management and other departments
